We’re thrilled to announce that PPG’s COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program has been recognized with the Most Innovative Practice in Public Welfare Award at the 2024 China Corporate Social Responsibility Theme Dialogue in Beijing.
This recognition is a testament to our ongoing efforts to make a positive impact through meaningful community engagement and sustainable education. Cathy Yan, PPG’s General Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for the Asia Pacific region, represented us at the event. During her keynote speech, she highlighted PPG’s dedication to fostering sustainable development and empowering local communities across China.
In 2023, our COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® projects in Foshan, Zhangjiagang, Yunnan, Shenyang, and Tianjin brought color, joy, and sustainable education to students by beautifying schools and creating inspiring learning environments. These projects align with our mission to protect and beautify the world, ensuring our impact goes beyond paint and into the hearts of the communities we serve.
This award inspires us to continue leveraging our expertise in innovative and sustainable practices to uplift communities globally.
