This year marks the 20th anniversary of our Ergo Cup® competition. Each year, our employees from around the world submit improvement projects that have minimized or eliminated ergonomic risks at their workplaces to be considered for this award. This year’s winner is the Automotive OEM team at our Valladolid, Spain, plant. Engineers at the plant developed a new design for portable tanks that allow electric pallet trucks to lift and move the tanks, eliminating the need for manual handling and thus significantly reducing the risk for injuries. Congratulations to the Valladolid team for this outstanding achievement, and for continuing to make PPG a safe place to work.
