The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) celebrated another milestone at its 14th Annual “Cocktails for a Cause” on January 21, 2025, drawing a record-breaking crowd of over 200 industry professionals at the CASCADE Lounge, Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs, CA.
The evening featured an exciting live auction, with exclusive prizes, including premier tickets to the Daytona 500, sponsored by Axalta, and the Brickyard 400, sponsored by PPG.
Supporting Industry Professionals in Crisis
Outgoing CIF President Dan Risley (CCC Intelligent Solutions) opened the event with a heartfelt welcome, expressing gratitude to event sponsors, prize donors, and Annual Donor Program supporters.
“Without everyone’s generous contributions, CIF would not be able to fulfill its mission,” said Risley.
During the event, a presentation showcased the impact CIF has had over the past 20+ years, providing emergency relief to industry members in need.
Aid for SoCal Wildfire Victims
Staying true to its mission, CIF announced it has begun distributing funds to collision repair professionals affected by the Southern California wildfires. In addition, $250,000 has been allocated specifically to wildfire relief efforts, ensuring urgent support reaches those impacted. A dedicated donation campaign has been launched, with 100% of contributions going directly to affected industry professionals.
Growing Support for CIF’s Annual Donor Program
Risley also highlighted the increasing participation in CIF’s Annual Donor Program, established in 2021, to provide sustainable funding for disaster relief efforts. CIF operates entirely on donations, ensuring industry professionals receive support when catastrophe strikes.
