As part of PPG’s COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program, a group of dedicated PPG employees from our Malaysia Technology Centre recently teamed up with EPIC Homes to build a home in just three days for a family of five in a nearby village. This inspiring effort reflects our ongoing commitment to improving communities and supporting families in need.
The team of 30 employees began the project with a workshop to familiarize themselves with the necessary tools and techniques. Then, they worked together to construct the home, section by section, including the foundation, roof, walls, floors, windows, and doors.
After completing the structure, PPG employees proudly applied a protective coat of PPG SUN PROOF® paint, ensuring the home was both safe and beautifully finished.
This initiative showcases how PPG employees live out our core purpose: to protect and beautify the world. Through projects like this, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to the communities where we live and work, making a lasting impact for those in need.
